Q-Checker is like a spell checker for CATIA, instead of words it checks the “product data” for its quality. Like a spell checker lets you immediately know whether a word has been written wrong, Q-Checker lets you know whether design rules have been followed and like a spell checker it offers automatic repair functions. It is making company specific design rules available in CATIA and helps you to stay in line with your process demands and saving time in doing so.
When operated already from the early beginning in the design process, Q-checker will support and enhance cross-engineering as well as model reuse. The key to a successful implementation is the integration and adaptation to companies’ PLM processes. The Q-Monitor product allows statistical assessments to establish a continuous improvement process for PDQ.
